Fags in White packets ... next bright idea

Thats what they are suggesting next.  Not content with the addition of graphic images from 12th of October and the up and coming ban on the display of cigarettes in shops, there is now a movement which thinks that this will reduce the amount of smokers.  Highly unlikely I would have thought.  Smokers buy the packs for what's inside them not cos they are pretty colours !

Even Simon Clark of smoking rights pressure group Forest thinks this wont work

"It is a form of commercial censorship. No other product comes in plain white packaging. For some people it will make smoking slightly illicit. It will make smoking cool again."
