Barbecue Summer

As I look out the window on another wet chilly day, it is good to know that the Department of Health was worrying about our well being. 

Somebody somewhere has indicated that there was a possibility of a heat wave this summer, a barbecue summer in their words. 

Of course it turned out to pee down all through the summer again.

But you will be assured to know there is something called the "Heatwave Warning System" when the weather does turn out to be warm next summer.  The warning system will be triggered if the temperature rises above 32C (90F) in the south, or 30C (86F) in the blustery North. 

Hardly Sub Saharan is it? Good to know that we are being looked after eh?
